Extended-Life Synthetic Motor Oil maintains its fluidity (viscosity) under extreme conditions. Some oils break down and significantly increase in viscosity after extended periods of high-temperature operation, causing excessive oil consumption, engine deposits, accelerated wear, and difficult cold starts. AMSOIL Extended-Life resists oil breakdown, ensuring protection in extreme temperatures.
AMSOIL Extended-Life features unique chemistry to protect against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI). LSPI is the spontaneous ignition of the fuel/air mixture prior to spark-triggered ignition, which can destroy pistons and connecting rods in modern GDI turbocharged engines.

bought to go in a 4.6l ford i spent 7000.00 rebuilding
ford tech said to use this to try to get the rings to seal on the new engine hasn't worked completely but has slowed oil usage down to about a quart every 2500 miles. CHAINS AND CAM GEARS HAVE QUIETED WAY DOWN ALSO. IT SEEMS LIKE IT IS HELPING SOME SO I AM HAPPY.

Great Product, Worth the Price
Recently purchased this for my wife's 2023 GMC Acadia. After changing the oil, the motor was noticeably quieter and smoother. I was hesitant at first to spend the additional money for the Amsoil, after all, "oil is oil right". Not the case at all! I will be purchasing Amsoil from here on out for our vehicles!
Great Oil
Have been using this oil for more than 5 years and have had no problems and no oil usage between changes on 3.5 v6 Highlander with 190,000 miles Still gets 22mpg before AMSOIL got 21 mpg !
Amsoil oil
I have been using Amsoil extended life oil since 2005. As of this moment I have never had a mechanical problem. I change the oil every 6 months so have not actually got to the 25,000 mile mark.
